The Knowledge Resources Department was established by Resolution No. 440500380 dated 3/21/1444 AH The Management of Knowledge Resources at the University of Jeddah provides various information sources for all specializations for Bachelor’s and Postgraduate studies. Also, high-quality services to stimulate creativity in the educational and research process through distinguished human resources and purposeful community partnerships.

TASKS:

• Applying international quality standards for libraries to develop knowledge resource management services.
• Providing various forms of innovative sources of knowledge that meet the research and educational needs of the university.
• Enhance areas of cooperation between the Knowledge Resources Management and its counterparts in other universities and other local and international institutions.
• Continuous development of information sources and services in quantity and content
• Raising information awareness between university employees and students by preparing introductory programs about the services provided
• Developing the administrative system and raising the efficiency of knowledge resources management employees.
• Continuous evaluation of management services and benefiting from the evaluation results in making strategic decisions.
